The Reentry Roundtable is pleased to announce that applications for the 2023 Roundtable Advocacy Fellowship are now being accepted. The purpose of the Roundtable Advocacy Fellowship is to build the capacity of the Fellow and the Roundtable to deliver competent and professional advocacy work that improves outcomes for people with criminal justice system involvement.
Designed for individuals with lived experience navigating reentry, the Advocacy Fellowship is an innovative approach that has enhanced the Roundtable’s strategic efforts while also developing the leadership capacity of the Fellow by providing skill-building opportunities and mentorship. The Advocacy Fellowship has been a critical linkage to support the Reentry Advocacy Project (RAP), an affiliated group of people with criminal justice system involvement who meet monthly to provide support and connect to resources utilizing a mutual aid peer support model.
The Fellowship is structured as a deliverables-based contractor position. This unique opportunity requires the ability to work autonomously to complete tasks by the required deadlines with minimal supervision.
Applications are due by 5PM Central Time on March 31st, 2023. If you have questions, please contact info@reentryroundtable.org.
