The University of Texas School of Law is offering free legal assistance to help individuals expunge eligible criminal records. The following types of criminal records may be eligible for expunction:
- An arrest for a crime that was never charged;
- A criminal charge that was dismissed; and
- Certain misdemeanor juvenile offenses, such as non-traffic Class C tickets, conviction of a minor for certain alcohol and tobacco offenses, and conviction for Failure to Attend School.
